Trimmed the excess fabric from the top edge with the pinking shears leaving about a 1 inch overhang.

Painted each of the iron tabs for the drag cables and the wing cross cables. Also painted the iron tab holding the aileron pulleys in place.

Ironed the end material edges smooth and then ironed the end material at 250 degrees. Applied a line of glue along the bottom of the end material extending about 1 1/2 inches into the covering. Pulled the material over the bottom of the wing and aligned the end and trailing edges in place for the correct overlap. Ironed the end and trailing edges in place. Applied a 2 inch line of glue along the leading edge centered under the edge of the covering material. Pulled the covering tight and pressed it in place along the leading edge until reaching the aileron cutout, Trimmed the material on the left side of the aileron cutout leaving about 1 1/2 inch of overlap on the aileron end material. Applied glue along the aileron cutout and ironed the bottom cover in place on the aileron end material. Applied glue along the top of the aileron cutout. Moved back to the leading edge and continued the 2 inch line of glue to the end of the wing. Ironed the leading edge in place. Pulled the covering material tight over the wing and ironed it in place over the top of the aileron cutout. Trimmed the excess material from the aileron cutout and ironed the edges. Applied a light line of glue along the wing tip. Turned the wing over so the top side was up. Worked the wing tip material smoothly around the tip, ironing the material tight to the edge. Trimmed the excess material to within a 1/2 inch of the edges. Applied glue to the wing tip to set the edges of the material. Turned the wing over so the bottom side is up.
