Brief Description: Installed Position Light Plugs on Wing Ends
Cut off the excess wire on the right wing end and trimmed back the covering about 3/4 inches. Removed 1/4 inch installation from each of the wires. Wrapped the strands together and then soldered the ends. Slid a 5/8 inch length of heat-shrink tubing on the wire. Added the plug case on the wire. Tinned the tabs on the pug body where the wires are to be connected. Applied flux to all connections. Laid a wire over the plug tab and applied heat until the solder melted connecting the wire to the plug. Connected the second wire. Screwed the plug case up over the wires. Applied heat to shrink the tubing where the wires go into the plug case. Tighten the end clamp over the heat-shrink and wires. Installed the left wing position light plug as described above.
