Brief Description:  Left Side Brake Linkage

Positioned the right brake peddle in line with right side brake peddles and into the foot pan to align the linkage rod to the L bracket at the top of the floor board. Marked the location of the mounting hole for the foot brake peddle. Drilled a 1/4 inch hole in the foot pan and mounted the heal brake peddle to the foot pan. Mounted the front support bracket across both foot pans with a AN3 bolt in each foot pan. Drilled two 1/4 inch holes on each side of the support bracket and mounted a L bracket on the right side and a T bracket on the left side. The T bracket was mounted with a 1/2 inch spacer to prevent the two brackets from hitting each other during the use of the brakes. Mounted a rod linkage between the right heal brake peddle and one arm of the L bracket. Positioned the left heal brake peddle on the foot pan and marked its mounting location. Drilled a 1/4 inch hole in the foot pan and mounted the heal brake peddle. Installed a pull rod on the right heal brake peddle with an AN3 bolt. Connected the other arm of the push rod to the L bracket mounted at the head of the food pans.

Checked the position of the master cylinder on the left side of the fuselage. Positioned a L bracket next to the input to the master cylinder and marked it location. Drilled a 1/4 inch hole at that position and mounted the L bracket at that location. Connected one arm of the L bracket to the master cylinder and the other arm to a connecting rod. Adjust the length of the connecting rod to aligned the position of the third arm of the T bracket. End of day.
