Brief Description: Modification of Landing Gear for Caliper Mounting
Fitted the axle back between the landing gear struts. Slid the caliper mounting bracket on the axle and double check the alignment and clearance for the right side. Repeated the same process for the left side. Shimmed up the caliper mount for the correct alignment parallel to the ground. Once the caliper bracket is welded to the axle it will not be as easy for the axle to be removed from the struts. Double checked the axle washers and got them properly installed on each axle. Welding of the caliper bracket will have to wait till the next work day.
