Brief Description: Landing Light Trim and Engine Oil Prep
Mounted the repaired CHT sensor back on the #1 exhaust port and tighten the attachment bolt.
Fitted the oil filler assembly into the fuselage and measured the connecting hose to the inlet on the oil tank. Marked the hose and cut away the excess. Mounted the hose to the oil tank fill port and clamped it in place. Added one quart of Valvoline 10 - 40 oil to the filler and oil tank. Removed the oil input line to the engine in preparation for the pre-oiling process. Borrowed a small pressure tank to be used to pre-oil the engine. The connection required is an AN6 female fitting which will have to be added to the pressure tank hose. Work for another day.
Marked an outline of each of the landing light cutouts on a sheet of soft 0.3 aluminum. Cut each outline from the sheet. Sanding the edges smooth. The center cutouts will be completed during the next work day.
