Removed the altimeter from the instrument panel to have it overhauled. Reading on the instrument was completely out of range of the field elevation.
Drilled out the mounting holes on the bracket to fit the mounting screws. Aligned the landing light in the right wing stub opening and marked the location for the mounting holes. Drilled a 5/32 inch hole at the left marked location and using a self taping screw mounted the bracket to the frame. Marked the right side and again drilled and tapped the hole and mounted the right bracket to the frame. Repeated the process for the left side landing light.
Marked the inside wing rib on the wing stub every 3 inches. Drilled 1/8 inch stitch holes on the marked locations along the inside top wing rib on the right side. Repeated the process for the left side inside wing rib.
