Corrected the wiring on the AMP shunt for the third time connecting it back as originally wired. Removed the ground wire. Install a new 50 amp fuse on the alternator leg. Turned on the master switch and checked the amp meter which showed a 0.01 reading. Looks ok.
Drilled a 5/32 inch hole in two if the mounting brackets 5/8 inch from the vertical face. Mounted the bracket on the light with a 1/2 inch long #6 metal screw for each light. Marked the bracket to remove the excess material at the end. Cut a 1/8 by 1 inch slot into two of the remaining brackets. Filed the edges smooth and then mounted the slotted brackets to the other side of the lights with #6 1/2 inch metal screws.
