Placed the firewall sheet into the break and bent 1/4 inch of the outer edge about 15 degree toward the back of the firewall. Repeated the bending for the other edge of the firewall. Used the shrinker tool on a 36 inch segment of 1 inch 0.02 aluminum angle to form a curve to match the curve of the top of the firewall sheet. Repeated the process until the curve was matched. Attached the angle to the firewall sheet top with 1/8 inch pop rivets every 4 inches. Trimmed the angle to match the outer edges of the firewall.
