Brief Description: Pitot Tube, Aileron Cable Pulleys, and Tyedown Str
Drilled a center hole on the pitot tube bracket within the marked area for the pitot tubes to fit through. Fitted the pitot tube assembly onto the bracket and drilled three 3/16 inch holes through the assembly and bracket. Installed three 1032 anchor nuts into the bracket at the drilled holes. Fitted the bracket onto the wing and secured with three 1/8 inch pop rivets. Installed the pitot tube assembly into the bracket with three 1032 screws.
Fabricated a second set of brackets for the pulley and assembled all together with an AN 3 bolt. Cut two straps 5/8 by 3 inches. Drilled each pulley assemble at the bottom with the strap for AN3 bolts. Modified the top of each pulley assembly to create tabs which center the pulley within the fuselage uprights. Mounted each pulley assemble to the frame over the aileron cables.
Fabricated one tyedown strap from 085 aluminum sheet 2 by 14 inches. Folded the sheet in half and secured the two haves with two 3/16 inch pop rivets. Drilled a 3/4 inch hole centered in the closed end of the strap. Split the two halves and formed them over the cross brace and strut on the forward wing spar. Sanded all edges and rounded the corners.
