Built a wood stand to hold the instrument panel at a 40 deg angle to support mounting the instruments. Mounted two 2x4 segments on each end of a 1 inch plank that was about 40 inches long. Created two triangles out of 1 by 2 by 16 inch boards and attached to each 2 X 4 which serves as the back rest.
Cut the left outer wing struts to length, one at 54 inches and the other at 55 3/4 inches using a chop saw. Cleaned up the cut ends getting them ready for the attachment of the flanges.
