Brief Description: Completed Installation of the Right Throttle
Cut, drilled and taped two mounting tabs. Positioned the tabs at the marked locations and mig welded in place. Positioned the throttle plate and drilled a 3/16 hole at each mounting tab. Mounted the throttle plate to the fuselage with two 1024 by 1/4 inch screws. Checked the alignment of the throttle cable and drilled a 3/16 inch hole for the mounting clamp. Positioned the mounting clamp on the throttle cable and bolted it in place using a 1032 by 1/2 inch bolt and locking nut. Drilled the second 3/16 inch hole and secured the clamp with a second 1032 bolt. Removed the throttle plate from the fuselage and cable. Cut the excess material from each end and drilled two lighting holes. Sanded all edges smooth. Reinstalled the right throttle assembly and checked the travel of the throttles from idle to full power.
Mounted a zip tie to the top back of the baggage area and secured the throttle cable there.
