Cut a 2 by 9 1/2 by .05 inch plate from spare aluminum stock. Cut the excess material from the used throttle arm leaving a 3/4 inch by 3/8 center mounting tube. Drilled a 3/8 inch hole in the left end of the 2 inch plate. Mounted the throttle arm to the plate using a 1 1/2 by 3/8 inch aluminum bolt and locking nut. Drilled a 3/16 inch hole 1 3/4 inches from the center of the mounting bolt on the throttle arm. Positioned the throttle cable from the left throttle over the throttle plate and marked the location of the cable clamp.
Lined up the right throttle with the left throttle and noted the position. Doubled checked the position and then marked the fuselage for the location of the two mounting tabs.
