Brief Description:  Completed the Mounting of the Lower Left Wing

Finished the repair to the left wing stub by gluing a strip of 3 inch tape over the cuts and leaving it to dry.

Raised the lower wing slowly by resetting the clamps on the cross braces. Check the drag cable length to see if it would reach the lower half of the turnbuckle. Continue to raise the wing until the drag cables could be connected. Got each of the drag turnbuckles set on the wing with expectations of more checking. Removed the cross braces from the uprights and set them aside. Moved the outer brace over to allow for support for the right wings. Carefully moved the inter brace over the right side to support the right wings.

Repositioned the aircraft to the left side of the area and moved it back closer to my work table. Rebalanced the tail to provide a level aircraft.

Installed the left ailerons starting with the top one. The connecting rod for linking the two ailerons was brought home for painting. Used the small iron to set the new patches on the trailing edges of the left wing root. Took the cockpit trim pieces home with me for the installation of the top roll around the cockpit.
