Laid out two W3 rear spars on the table and clamped then together. Placed one of the W10 sheets on spars and marked a line of rivets every 4 inches down one side. Drilled a 1/8 inch hole through the sheet and top spar and secured with a cleo. Marked the lower side for a line of rivets every 4 inches starting at the other end of the sheet so the marks are not aligned with the top. Drilled and secured the lower spar to the sheeting with a cleo. Drilled each mark with a 1/8 inch drill and removed the sheet and deburred each hole. Reset the sheeting and installed 1/8 inch pop rivets into each hole. Laid a second W10 sheet on the spar and marked the desired length. Cut to fit and repeated the process of marking and drilling as described above. Turned the spar over and installed W10 sheeting on that side of the spar.
Laid out the wing rib template on the table. Installed forming blocks at the nose and brace points along the wing rib. Installed a bending block on the table for the final adjustment of the wing ribs to fit the form. Placed one pre formed W17 top tube on the template and noted the variation from the desired line. Moved the tube to the bending block and adjusted the tube closer to the template. Refitted the tube to the template and again noted any variations. Repeated the bending process until the tube matched the template. Added the bottom W17 tube and again adjusted as necessary to fit the template. Laid the W29 nose rib on the tubes and drilled a 1/8 inch hole through the rib and top tube. Secured with a cleo. Aligned the nose rib with the template and drilled the bottom securing it with another cleo. Drilled a second 1/8 inch hole through the nose rib and top tube. Installed a 1/8 inch pop rivet. Drilled a second hole in the bottom of the rib and tube and secured it with a pop rivet. Removed the cleo's and installed pop rivets in their place. Mounted a forming block on the template to provide a 3 inch dimension from the front of the spar to the tip of the wing rib. Marked a W1
