The front brace under the step area on the lift wing stub failed when stepped on. The lower support under the angle iron buckled allowing the front of the step to collapse. A C channel aluminum support was added to the top of the brace. A hose clamp was placed around the C channel and the brace to keep everything in place. The challenge was to get the clamp tighten up using only one hand. After several tries over the two hours and one change of clamps it was finally tighten on the brace. This stabilized the front of the step and kept everything aligned.
