Brief Description: Welded Mounting Points for Control Stick and Firew
Cut two triangle shaped tabs from sheet steel and ground the edges smooth. Cut five 3/4 inch lengths from the 1/2 inch wide steel strip. Tig welded each of the taps on the front of the fuselage, one in each corner and one tab on the center of the cross members of the fuselage.
Cut one of the double links in half. Marked the center location on the two cross members on the bottom of the fuselage in position to support the control stick assembly mounting. Tig welded each of the half links in place and drilled a 3/16 inch hold in the center of each. Drilled a 1/16 inch hole in the edge of each of the mounts for use in anchoring safety wire.
