Brief Description: Installed Center Wing Section Attachment Fittings
Cut each of the four fitting to 3 1/2 inches using the chop saw. Ground one end of each fitting to fit over the longeron and lean forward about 5 degrees. Positioned each fitting on the fuselage per the specifications. Spot welded each fitting at it designated location. Doubled checked each fitting for correct position and alignment. Welded each fitting to the fuselage with the Tig welder. Checked each weld and filled in any areas that appeared to be lightly covered. Wire brushed each weld and inspected for complete welds.
Marked each leg of the rudder bracked with three evenly spaced center punched marks. Drilled each mark with a 5/8 inch drill creating lighting holes. Sanded each leg of the bracket to remove any burrs.
