Brief Description: Installation of Engine Frame Mounts
Drilled a 1/4 inch hole one inch from the end of the longeron as a welding point for the plug. Placed the plug in the end of the longeron and tapped it to start seating it. Screwed a 3/8 inch bolt into the plug to serve as an impact point for the plug. Hammered the plug into the longeron until it was fully seated. On the top left longeron the plug would only seat about half way under the force of the hammer. Heated the end of the longeron with a torch and continued to seat the plug. Seated all four plugs. Using the tig welder filled the 1/4 inch hole in the side of the longeron over the plug. Welded the end of the longeron to the plug. Repeated for the remaining plugs.
