Measured spring gear for stop blocks. These blocks are 3"x7/8"x1/2" and are positioned up against the landing gear attachment brackets to keep the gear from moving side to side. I cut the blocks out of 1/2" bar stock. Then some careful measuring was done to ensure they were positioned in the correct place. I then drilled the blocks for AN4 bolts. I used the holes in the blocks for a drill guide to make the 1/2" deep hole in the gear. All landing gear holes were tapped for 1/4" threads. Blocks will be on left and right side. Next step will be to prepare the top part of the gear for epoxy primer. Once primed, I wiill mount spring gear on fuselage and install blocks. Block bolts will be safety wired.
