Next comes the canopy stiffeners. These add-ons help keep the canopy stiff when you grab one side of the canopy to lift it. Without them, the whole canopy warps to one side each time you lift it.
I started by clecoing everthing in place. Then, adding the blind rivets along the forward edge. Next, I started riveting the other side. I had to drill out 2 of the first 3 rivets I drove, so I decided to call it an evening before completing the stiffeners.
Using the hand pop rivet gun is hard on my wrists. I wished I'd splurged on a decent air rivet gun. (The one I got from Harbor Freight is useless.)
