Brief Description: Canopy Stiffeners and Side Skins
I finished riveting the rivets on the canopy stiffeners this evening. I'm glad most of the mid rivets will be hidden by the canopy. After the pieces are riveted together, You can see the shape of the stiffeners in the skin. I'm not sure how you would ever rivet it without the shape showing a bit.
I put the canopy frame back on the fuselage to finish the canopy side skins. Like an idiot, I didn't trim them to size when I was working on them last month. (I was worried the measurement might change due to the struts.)
With the canopy frame and skin riveted in place, the canopy is much more rigid! (It's great!) Tomorrow I'll cut the side skins to size
