It's sprouting wings. Today, we attached the wings. It now actually looks like an airplane. We started with the right wing and it just did not want to go all the way in. Finally, we were able to coax it in. The left wing slipped right in. Except, I had bent the fuselage skin that sticks out from under where the wing is attached. We were able to get everything to slide together by sliipping a piece of thin metal between the two.
After sliding the wings in we started going through the checklist of angles and measurements.
The triangulation of the wings to the tail were almost exact. We dropped 4 plumb bobs from the leading edge of the wings and the were within an 1/8 of an inch.
