-assemble tail gear springs and brackets, leave bolts slack so rear spring block can be inserted-estimate gap between bottom of tailcone and top of springs in area between rear brackets-grind aluminum block to wedge shape then grind radius to match bottom of tailcone-trial fit and regrind until fit is acceptable as per drawing-clamp springs together with large clamp to simulate weight on gear-jig block and drill center hole on drill press as shown on drawing, countersimk-drill 26 bonding holes as shown on drawing-deburr, clean, alodine and prime with zinc chromate
