Brief Description: V. fin Rivet holes (Step 54) V. Fin Spar( step 51)
Vertical fin Rivet holes (Step 54)-Back-drilled the holes from the spar flange unto the shell.-Upsized these holes to 1/8”.-Countersunk all the holes.-Began installing the nut-plates unto the flange Vertical Fin Spar( step 51)-De-burred the holes.-Protected the entire flange from corrosion by using aluminums prep and aldine. -Also painted on primer unto the part of the flange, which will not is seen once installed.
