Brief Description:  Drilled main lg to weldment

Right main landing gear was a tight fit into the gear weldment. Took it on and off several times, wiping up the lube, scotch briting the surfaces, relube. The wheel axle was stuffed into the woodworking tailvise so I could rotate the weldment back and forth. Eventually, got weldment on far enough to line up the predrilled 9/32 holes. Drilled out first with 19/64, then 5/16. Still a very tight fit!

The main gear went into it's weldment much more easily! Needed hardly any force to rotate the weldment on the gear--in fact, the wheel axle end if left free would rotate down on its own. Rigged up some clamps to make sure nothing moved during drilling.

With an AN5 in the holes, there's no rotation to be felt on the right main gear. But on the left, there's a tiny bit of wiggle. I'll investigate getting taper pins instead of bolts in these puppies. One wants _no_ play in the joint!
