Brief Description:  Bottom cowl micro and top cowl epoxy pin hole fill

I had brenda sand down the runs pn the cowl bottom in preperation for Micro.

I mixed micro and epoxy and applied real thin over the lower cowl surface, concetrating on areas that were in need of filler. This will dry and then I plan to block sand it all and then apply what I hope is the final coat of epoxy before prime goes on.

Brenda started the final sanding prep of the top cowl and then I finished and cleaned up with tac cloth and acetone before applying the 50/50 mix of acetone and epoxy with a bristle brush.

After about 5 hours, the 1st epoxy coat was dry enough to apply a second coat. Will let this dry for several days and then sand with 80 grit before trying micro filler etc.

Masked off the parking brake bottom two holes in bracket and painted with red acrylic paint.
This is the brake set area for lever and I want it noticable to alert before taxi, Take off, and landing. The lever needs to be clear of this area at all times unles parked.

Labeled the bracket. I still want to paint a green area at top of bracket as the brake open and clear zone.
