Today I removed the left skirt and then sanded off the epoxy that I applied to outer surface and recut the ertical lines. Also made some of the cuts a bit longer. I applied several rows of glossy packing tape to the fuse where the fiberglassing lay up will be.
I then cut several strips of BID fiberglass, mixed a big batch of epoxy and applied the fiberglass to underside of the skirt and over the vertical cuts. I applied a layer of peel ply over that
Clecoed the sirt in position and applied a slurry of epoxy and flox to the vertical cuts, smoothed out with squeegee and peel ply over that.
blocked the bottom edge of the problem areas down to the fuse with some wood blocks and clamps.
will let this dry and check on it tomorrow.
