Brief Description:  FWD baggage door rebuild final and Lock latch bloc

Two days lumped into one here.
1. Rivited the inside panel to baggage door. The pro seal was dry after 3 days of cure time. reemed the holes to #30 and installed the cs4-4 rivits one at a time. I checked to make sure the fit was still good a couple of times and then just finished the remaining rivits.

2. Clecoed the door on when all rivits set and it did not fit on aft edge. Argh! What happened? I dont know, but a slight twis introduced again. I dont get it!

3. Tried to drill out a few rivits on the top skin just aft of the door in hopes of shimming the skin a bit higher. This was both good an dad idea. One rivit drilled out fine and I was able to insert a shim for that hole. The other two were cherry max rivits and I did not drill them out properly. I drilled one up to the next size and rivited again. The other was very bad and ended up being drilled up to a #6 screw!! This will need to be covered as its quite ugly.Ill worry about it some other time.

4. Decided to rivit the door hinge along top in place and to live with the poor door fit

5. Started the latch blocks. I had a difficult time with this too! Started with the front one and after making some center lines and ref marks, I tapedit in place, closed the door and tried to engage the lock pin. Since this is a blind fit, It takes many tries and some luck. I eventually got it and was able to mark the screw hole locations from fwd side of fire wall. Removed and drilled for the screws and countersunk and then installed.

6. Made ref marks for the aft latch block and taped in place. Removed an instrument from panel and taped a sharpie to a long stick to reach the other side of latch block. I know I can reach it so Ill mark it after I get it positioned The latch pin wont engage this side. Will rest and try again tomorrow
