Drilled the 2 rivit holes in each end of the push rods after carefuly measuring and then lining up in the drill press. After drilling was complete, I removed the ends and deburred then primed the insides of tubes by spraying primer heavily into the end and then rolling the tube to evenly coat the inside. Set tubes aside for hours to be assembled after paint is cured.
Cut the Larger two push rods (aileron bellcrank to control stick) to proper length and cleaned up. Then primered the insides in the same manner as the smaller ones. This did not work out as well. Purchased some non aerosol primer and then poured a bunch down tube and then rolled to distribute. This worked better though a bit wasteful. Set aside to dry.
Late in the day I retrieved the smaller push rods and the bearing ends priviously drilled and hand squeezed the rivits in each end.
