Finishe d up the wiring for wig wag and power plug on lower rt console shelf....I hope! I cut off the spade type connectors I had installed yesterday and replaced with barrel molex pins and plugged into the shell body. I then installed the shelf with wired assemblys and plugged toggether. I had plenty of slack so I shouldnt have any trouble removing. I will clean up the wiring a little and rewrap rhe harnes of wires below but should wait until wiring is certain.
I used a test light bulb to verify power at taxi and at landing wire ends. They work But! When I flip on the wig wag They act strange. One side burns bright and the other side makes a buzzing noise from flasher unit. This what I think/hope is happening. The flasher unit contacts are on one side eg the landing light for example. In order for the flasher to operate properly it requires a load on both sides! I only had one bulb and so I need to get another cheap lamp and hook them both up to verify. Not sure what to do if thats not the problem. More later
