Sanded the tips so that they would fit properly and that the elevator would swing up and down w/o hitting. Im not sure if I need more clearance than this so I need to hold off on rivitting them in place for now.If I were to re do this, I believe cutting the tip about 1/32 under size of final gap desired and then building it up. I can still sand the center portion to make a slight concave end and that will also provide more clearance. Ill be comming back to this
