Brief Description: Fuel vent line bend and cut. Cut and flare main fu
The fuel lines that enter the fuselage from tanks were marked for cutting when the wings were on. So I cut them, installed the nut and collar and flared both sides. The pic below shows the flare. This was 4.5 Half rotations with my imperial flaring tool on 3/8 line. The resulting OD flare measures 0.479 inches.
Moved on to the fuel vent lines that exit via the gear leg mounting bay. They are bent slightly forward and then cut pependicular. Plans call for 1/2 inch distance from the cover plate to the tube center when bent and cut.
Installed th coverplates temporarily until its time to install the gear.
