Brief Description:  Final nutplate instalation and nylon pitot line

Log 1 of 2

The lug styl plate nuts (MS21053-L08) came in mail and so I got the final 3 installed on the right wing. One on the top spar flange and on on bottom adjacent to spar. One on trailing edge on top. The first two are a bit tricky to get in and the bottom one is impossible to dimple for #8 and requires machin countersink even though the skin is not realy thick enough for it. That completes the wing fairing attach points.

I also received some 1/4 inch O.D nylon pitot line from Stein air. I plan to go simple and low tech on attaching it to the aluminum line coming out of inbd wing rib. I use a vinyl tube with ID of 1/4 inch and splice the tubes together with a short piece. Clamp each end. For now I used some zip ties but I may elect to get some metal ring clamps later. But this set up is easy and light. No real pressure to worry about either.
