After visiting the store for nuts and bolts and washers and steel angle etc I proceeded to cut the four 12 inch pieces of steel needed with hack saw.
Cut dowels and inserted into stand off arms and drilled a center hole in them for the 3/16 inch bolts in the fire wall corners. I think they are too small though.
Drilled a hole on each end of the angle pieces on drill press
attached the mount plate to the steel and the steel to the standoff arms.
centered it all and tightened the hardware up
lifted fuse and shuved the stand on to the plate
Done. However, I will check to see if i can enlarge the 4 holes in fuselage firewall mounts to at least 1/4 inch. I also ned a better stand for the tail.
