Brief Description:  Header Tanks - Take Two

I had to change the header tank configuration because I was not comfortable with the proximity of the tank with respect to the aileron control linkage. So, I opted to replace the single tank with (2) 2 liter tanks and raise them up several inches. This way I still maintain 1 gallon of guaranteed fuel in the event that the transfer pump failed. These tanks will also make it very easy to install the bulk head fittings due to the wide mouth screw on lid. Fortunately these containers are relatively inexpensive and require no welding. These are made of FLPE (Fluorinated high density Polyethylene), highly compatible with aromatic hydrocarbons. I need to rivet these parts together and then install the fittings in each tank. There is likely another 6-8 hours of work remaining on this new design.
