Brief Description:  Sealing the Tanks

Today the rubber gaskets arrived. These are the same geometry as the mounting rings I had cut out on the water jet (same company), except these were cut out on a laser cutter (and should have arrived with the mounting rings). I assembled the wing tip end of both tanks (10 screws per end) so 40 screws total for both tanks. The Jiffy Tite quick disconnects also arrived. I filled up each tank aout half way with water and used a marker to indicate where any pinhole leaks were. I then emptied the water, removed the cap, used my TIG welder to close the pin holes and repeat. After 4 hours I had the wing tip end of both tanks sealed and water tight. Tomorrow I will install the wing root bulkheads.
