The most complicated part (yes, even more than the fuel tanks) of this project has been moving the control from the side stick to a center stick. Because there is so little room to work with in this sardine can I've had to spend a lot of time coming up with a solution. I took some 3/8" bar stock and made these tubular brackets on the lathe. These are welded on both sides of the glider just forward of the wing root. You should have a sense of how the steel cable routes from the front control stick to the rear at this point. The next posting shows how this translates into linear motion for the aileron push rods.
