Brief Description:  Instrument panel + other

An expensive day shopping today. We went out and bought some paint for the interior (a kind of metallic grey), black satin spray enamel which we'll try on the panel, some [very expensive] heat-shrink, cable ties, cable tie pads, soldering iron (a good one: Jackie's birthday present), tools, etc. All in all I think we chewed through the better part of around $550. Ouch!!

When we got home I cut the 2ΒΌ" hole in the right side instrument sub-panel for the compass while Jackie edge-finished the cabin side covers which I had fogotten about. We did some planning work around bits and pieces. We're going to primer the parts we have and sort those out, and then look at interior painting the reag baggage compartment and associated parts. I also fitted the baggage tie down rings to the rear shelf and baggage floor.

After that I had to stop to take care of some "honey-do's"; in this case, fitting some gib board, which I shall need to finish tomorrow (if I'm not skydiving).

So much to do. So much to do...
