Brief Description: Tom Clark fastback - rivet top skin
Well, we're almost there! We got the remainder of the longerons and the forward F-807 bulkhead riveted. We also riveted the F-807/longeron braces on each side and riveted the shims on the left side that I had made yesterday. It was the right thing to do; the 'form' of the skin looks much better with the .025" shims in place. As a result, I removed some rivets from the right side of the F-808 and F-809 bulkheads and made up some .020" shims since it wasn't quite so bad on that side. The rattle can primer is 'in progress' and I'll rivet those final few rivets tomorrow evening; otherwise, the top skin is complete and I think we can now re-fit the tail and look at wiring, pitot tubes, etc.
