Brief Description:  Electric aileron trim kit

It occured to me this evening that if I proceed with the Tom Clark top skin fitment I'll have to remove and re-fit the empennage twice to also install and position the Trutrak elevator servo. Rather than do that I've decided to wait until I get the servo install kit from SteinAir, do that, and then continue with the top skin. That way I only need to remove the empennage once (I hope).

Tonight, then, I decided instead to work on the aileron trim kit and the front control stick. The front stick had some annoying slop in it, so I removed the brass bush and tweaked it a little to tighten things up. Slop now gone and action smooth as! After that I fitted the electric aileron trim kit as per the instructions. Most of the time was spent measuring and cutting that tube with the slot at the end and the holes. I may need to work on the hole alignment with the servo arm as it seems a little tight, but I'll wait until I get the servo electrified and running and see whether it strains or draws too much current before I touch it. All in all, a satisfying evening.
