Brief Description:  Tom Clark fastback

Again, not a terribly effective or efficient build session. Finished 'flanging' the Tom Clark bulkheads on the right side so they will match the skin when it goes on. Drilled the forward F-807 bulkhead to the Vans bulkhead lower and cut out the seatbelt slots. We also drilled the snap bushing holes in the three bulkheads (we forgot to do the other two last night). Jackie cleaned all the primer off the TC F-807 bulkhead top and deburred it all. I made a brace across the F-809 bulkhead to tie the two sides together and correct a slight alignment issue; this will also form part of the AFS AF3400 remote magnetometer bracket, so no wasted time or effort there! Finally, since we haven't yet cut out our fastback top skin we used the Vans top skin to check the fit underneath the tip of the vertical stab. Hmm, slight interference issue. I have so far removed a quarter inch off the tip, tapering back to the first rivets. I've just about got the minimum edge distance now on that first rivet so I can go any further there, but I may have to just nick of another 1/16th or so from the very tip. We've decided to leave it for now until we actually get the TC fastback skin riveted on and then work the VS from there; at least we have a good starting point for now.
