Received the replacement vert stab attach bracket and spacer today. No wonder FedEx are doing well US $55 to ship a coupld of small pieces of aluminium worth $10 in a plastic bag. Ouch, ouch and OhMeGod OUCH!!! :-(
Anyway, I got them match drilled, deburred and added them to the priming pile. I also removed the manual trim horns from the elevator trim tab and match drilled, dimpled and deburred the electric trim horn replacements. Then cleaned and primered all the parts: rear seat throttle bracket, trim tab horns, elevator bellcrank and bering, elevator pushrods and anywhere I've cut or drilled metal in the fuselage recently, including the area/nutplates for the aileron boots. Sweet, when this lot sets up I can get on with the controls again. Which reminds me, I need to remove the vert stab, seeing as it is only half attached at the moment anyway; that way I can set and rivet the F-812 elevator stop angle which is otherwise inaccessible with the vert stab in place.
