I know it didn't really warrant a photo, but I wanted to try out the new wide-angle lens. Hmm, seems a little blurred; better use the tripod next time. Not sure the WA lens is intended for 'close' work like this; I think it is more suited to panora shots.
Picked up an 8-32 tap today and tapped the four holes in the cable anchor. Primered the throttle quadrant assembly, mid-cabin covers, auxilliary longerons (where they had been countersunk), the right-side console, aileron boot retaining rings, and the two front seat ramps. Unfortunately the nutplates I ordered (locally) were #8 and not #6, so I wasn't able to drill/countersink the fuselage side skins for nutplates for the aileron boot retaining rings. A job for another day. I also notice in the manual that after rivetting a couple of nutplates and fitting the throttle quadrant assembly the next job is fitting the tail feathers. Now, *that* is going to be fun! :-)
