My W-414C-R aileron hinge bracket replacement hasn't arrived from Vans (unsurprisingly), so we won't be priming this weekend. On the left aileron I had forgotten to back drill through the nose ribs and into the counterweight tube, so I reassembled the aileron and did that. Then we mixed up some proseal and while Jackie applied it to each rib/wiring tube intersection, I went ahead and re-sealed the screws holding the fuel tank access cover in place. I replaced nine of the screws since I didn't like the look of the heads: they're cheap as, not worth skimping on. We'll let that set up now and won't touch the wing for a few days. Later on we might continue the deburring and edge-finishing of the flap brace and aileron components. We're thinking we might cruise over to see another local builder: he should be working on his RV-7 today. Especially since it is persisting down with rain :-(
