Nearly two hours in the shop tonight and I really don't feel like I achieved that much. I've got a damn cold coming on too :-( Edge finished the mounting bracket and prepared it for priming. Drilled and countersunk the lens reinforcing strips and prepped those for priming too. Edges needed cleaning up on the scotchbrite wheel. Fitted the lens, marked it and then cut it out using the dremel. Tidied the edges on the belt sander and then took to them with 600 grit wet 'n' dry paper used dry. Will do a little more edge finishing on the lens tomorrow with 600 grit wet, and then I'll drill the holes using the 'strap' method advised in the instructions. That's all for now though; I don't feel so good and 'Lost' is on TV in five minutes...
