Didn't do much tonight. There's not much more I can do with the leading edge light until I prime the mounting bracket and reinforcing strips. I fitted the lens to the leading edge cutout using the strap method recommended in the instructions. Drilled through the skin holes #40 and cleco'd the lens in place as I went. The I went through with a #30 drill before removing the lens from the leading edge. I drilled the lens out to 5/32" and countersunk the holes with a #27 countersink bit in a power drill. Then I opened the holes in the skin to #27 and dimpled with a #6 dimple die set in my squeezer. I got the new screws, 1oz proseal and fuel tank leak test kit from Vans today, so maybe tomorrow I'll finish the tank. I've decided to re-install the cork access panel gasket and check the flop tube for leaks. If the flop tube passes the leak test then I'll remove the panel and proseal it in place.
