Wasn't sure whether to categorize this as wing or workshop. Since it is a jig, I eventually decided on workshop. It makes a difference where I store the photos, since I have more construction photos than is shown in the Kitlog logbook. Since I'm unable to prime the ribs and assemble the wing skeleton I decided to jump ahead and build the leading edge assembly cradle. I looked at the plans and decided that I didn't think a single piece of 2x4 would be stable enough. Yes, it took me considerably longer, but now I have a free-standing and very stable leading edge cradle. Besides, it isn't as if I have much else to do. If I feel like it later today, or during the week, I might make a start on the leading edge (I have a lot of paperwork to do; accounts and tax returns - urgh!!). I do prefer to do one thing at a time though.
