Colin Stevens returned three weeks after our initial try at balancing the main rotor. Colins Chadwick balancer was able to assist us reduce the vibration to less than .2 ips on the main rotor shaft. Next, Colin took the ship out for two ten minute flights. Everything went as planned so now it was my turn. I was a bit surprised at how touchy it was to lateral cyclic movement and much less so to fore-aft control. Within minutes, everything settled down and I was having a blast! Definately recommend some R22 time just before your first flight. Now, the only project left to complete is the full cabin doors.
