DAR, Charles Wright, traveled from Spokane to perform the inspection. He spent two hours checking all aspects of the build. Discrepencies noted included: Exposed copper terminal connectors needing insulation on both batteries. Anti-rotational marking on the glass instrument cover on gauges with op. limits taped on the glass. Labeling all switches and circuit breakers. He had me start the engine, engage the belts and bring the rotor system to 100 percent RPM. After reviewing all of the paperwork, insuring proper logbook entries were performed and reviewing my FSDO signed and approved Maintenance Program, Chuck issued the Airworthiness Certificate. A Big milestone achieved! Now, on to the repairmans certificate and incidently, flying N537HC for the first time.
