I aligned and the two halves of the elevator by clamping together in place with a straight eight foot board. I then drilled the left elevator control horn and bolted the two elevators together. I drilled both elevator control horns to accept the clevis fork bushing on the end of the push/pull rod. The elevator control system moves it's full range but there is some slight binding. This can be relieved by bending the long control rod as described in step 12. I'll do that later when I remove the control rod. I removed the left elevator and temporarly installed the plate and tab that secures the trim control cable to the elevator. I removed trim plate for painting later.
